Import from Tumblr, post preview images issue

Following an import of posts from a tumblr blog which correctly displayed preview images related to the post, once imported these images no longer show. The images are correctly displayed on the single posts themselves. But not on the main Blog page. Please advise of a simple way to make the theme universally display these images.
