Image and Video portfolios showing both categories

I created two portfolio pages. I set one to only show items from the ‘images’ category and the other to only show items from the ‘videos’ category. I have assigned certain items to ‘images’ or ‘videos’ but both portfolio pages keep displaying images and videos. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Please help.
