how to suppress images on Post Grid

I’m using the Post Grid element to display blog posts on a page. I’d like to display the grid without the images at the top (see attached screenshot). I’m assuming it has to do with the image on the blog post itself, but in any case need to know how to suppress those images selectively (that is, suppress them on some posts but not on others). I hope (and assume) it’s possible to do so in settings somehow rather than through code changes. How do I accomplish this?
