How to add external elements to Visual composer

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to add any external elements to the one in visual composer. I wanted to add other plugin such calendar plugin but i am not sure if there is a way to insert or add other plugins to visual composer? Any help in this matter would be appreciated. Thanks.
