Highend vs Highend Child

    I just downloaded Highend WP theme and got several zip files, I was able to download 2 to WordPress themes only and got 2 themes : Highend and Highend Child to choose from. Can someone please explain the difference between then 2? which one is better??

    Also do I need to install the other zip files? Help and demo data etc??
