Highend theme not correctly retrieving images

Hello:

In several places I am receiving the following error:

WP_Error Object ( [errors:WP_Error:private] => Array ( [error_loading_image] => Array ( [0] => File doesn’t exist? ) ) [error_data:WP_Error:private] => Array ( [error_loading_image] => /usr/local/apache/htdocs/~strucsu1/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/shw_logo.jpg ) )

I have confirmed the images are in place on the server by going into the appropriate location with an FTP client. The problem seems to occur with the demo data in the portfolio section, and with blog posts as well.
