Highend theme – images and resolutions

hi there… i’m a relative new user of Highend WP theme…

i’m having problems getting image and image carousel to display images properly…

i have a image that is 2000×600… i add it to a page with the image carousel item…

when i preview it.. the image is scaled to something like 1325×439 and it’s zoomed in… looks really grainy and bad… i have the image size keyword to: FULL

i’ve also tried the other settings like Large, small, thumbnail… and they are all bad…

i don’t understand how to get them to look sharp… is there a setting that i’m missing? or something that i’m doing wrong?
