Highend 2.2 with Ubermenu 3.2

I am using Highend Theme v.2.2 and purchased Ubermenu 3.2 to allow for more menus customization. I am able to install the plugin, either by FTP to server or automated upload and installation. However when I activate the plugin, the site completely crashes. In Firefox the page appears blank. In IE, it shows “HTTP 500 Internal Server Error”. Either way, I can no longer access the wp-admin page and login. I am forced to deactivate or remove the plugin in order to restore the site.

I’m looking for confirmation that this integration will or will not work. From previous threads, it appears that some version of Ubermenu was supported as working with the theme, but the versions I am working with do not.
