"Hide page title" and "custom page title"

Hello,

I want to know how to hide the page title on the page itself, but still customize the title for titlebar purposes.

For example, I don’t want “Home” to display on top of my content on the homepage and I’d like to be able to remove “Home” from the beginning of the page title for SEO purposes (i.e. I don’t want Google to index my site as “Home — Business Name”).

Right now I have the “hide page title” option checked and the custom page title entry is filled in with my site name (without the preceding “home”). The title is not showing up on the page itself, but the titlebar in my browser shows “Home” before the rest of the title. How do I remove “Home” from the titlebar display on my browser tab?
