Header and menu bar colour change

Hi,

Can you tell me how I can change the background colour of the header area and the menu
area and is it possibel to change the menu text colour without enabling the custom Typography in the theme settings.

Also how can I adjust the header hieght beyond the maximium 100 px in the header settings.
