I wanted to share these troubles to help fix / seek answers on my end and possibly help bring to attention a possible bug on the other end. I would like to start off with saying that i love the theme and i have had really good support with the hb-theme techs thus far. I was contacted by email saying to open a topic requesting a “reset + demo content import” i believe i already fixed it by doing the extreme but I would still like to share and possibly get some assistance. Most of this stems from me being a novice site builder, this is my first shot. I am a 3d visual effects artist so im not a novice at figuring out programs. Just throwing that out there that I’m not a complete idiot. lol

so this is my set up. i’m a bluehost member so i access mojo through blue and bought the hb-theme Highend through there. I download the theme and install. plugging in the demo version so everything is layed out and i can just start customizing, replacing, and deleting. everything is going fine until i get to the pages to delete all the un-needed drop down business under the main menu. i started with with the “home” trying to turn it into just a button, not needing all the drop down. Somehow i deleted too much and now my whole main menu is gone. I say to myself no problem…

    1) i try to restore defalt. that didnt work, wordpress somehow remembers and some random stuff was stored and brought back that i didnt know how to fix. I figured a reset to default would do exactly what it says but it didnt.
    2) i try to re-import the demo, this is where is gets messy. that doesnt work. now i have 2 homes, 2 portfolios, 2 footers so on and so on. lol. kind of figured a new import would fix it.
    3) i try to restore default again, now there is 3 of everything. then 4 of everything after trying to re-import again.
    4) i say well… maybe i can just delete the theme, install another one and re-install Highend. nope, somehow wordpress remembers stuff and everything just comes back all doubled. i definitely thought this would work for sure.
    5) i freak out and do the extreme, i uninstalled wordpress and re-installed it. re-installed Highend and the lite demo. this has worked but now as a result i just feel like i shouldnt have had to do all this. plus it sucks i found out when you un-install wordpress and re-install its like i started a new account but whatever.

So thats my story and I’m happy to hear anything that helps, suggestions, info or any constructive criticism. thanks have a nice day.
