full width slider on top of page with sidebar?

I’m working on a landing page that would have a full width slider underneath the menu nav menu, followed by a set of 3 infoboxes (full width), then below that the rest of the page would have a sidebar.

I used the landing page template but the slider and infoboxes still have the sidebar column in them. Is there a way to do this?
