Full cover slider/video

Hello,

Two questions here, that are somewhat related-

1. Is it possible to have a slider or video background as a full cover, fixed attachment, such that the header/logo/menu are actually below the window and scroll up attached to the bottom of the slider/video, still turning into a sticky menu? This way, when someone navigates to the site, the first thing they see is a full window video or slider. I hope I’m explaining this in a way that makes sense for what I’m hoping to accomplish…

2. I’m not sure if it’s a setting I’m not getting right in the theme or if it’s actually the settings in the layer slider that I’m not getting right, but is it possible to make the layer slider full-width? I have everything set to full-width in both the slider settings and in the theme settings, but it’s just not happening for me. Ideally, I would like to make this a full cover. I can get image backgrounds to go full-width no problem, but not the layer slider.
