Footer widgets not showing

The footer on my site is no longer showing, even though I have not disabled the footer at all. I had widgets in my footer such as Instagram, contacts, recent blog posts etc…but they are no longer visible.
All that is visible is the copyright information and the theme name, as well as menu options, however I cannot click on any of these whereas previously I could.
