Footer & Sidebar Content Gone After Switch to Child Theme

I’ve made edits in the parent theme, then switched over to a child theme. Everything is there except for the footer content and the configurations for the sidebar widgets (that took a while to setup).

http://www.connectisgrp.com/products/rightfax this page shows how the widgets are empty on the right side bar and the black footer is empty of content.

Is there a way to get the widget configuration and layout back from the parent theme over to the child theme?
