features or projects widgets

I current am trying to move from Canvas to Highend theme. In canvas there are features and projects I use in sidebars, as a section in the home page of my live site. I believe these things – i.e. features is categorized and then I can insert a short code into a page area or a widget into a sidebar so that a group of features (picture, short description and link) are display as a group. How can I duplicate this with highend or better – what does highend have so I can group features or projects to display a short summary of them?
