export test pages to live site

I am currently setting up a testsite for highend. I went thru the process of importing a demo site. After setting up the home page and other pages as I want them how do I transfer this back to the live site without importing all the unused demo pages and usernames and so on??? I feel if I export the whole testsite which is a duplicate of the live site I may miss some data – for example, I may overwrite anyone who subscribes to my live site before I get the testsite finished and ready for exporting to the live site. Can I transfer individual pages? Do you have other suggestions?
