Excluding Portfolio Categories

Hi,

I’m creating different portfolio pages for different categories.

But in some of the work the categories overlap! which is fine.

But when I exclude one of the categories the portfolio item doesn’t show on the page. Even though one of its category is still active.

Is there a way for me to fix that? Because I want the item to show if still has one of its categories active.
