Essential Grid Shortcode Generator not working in Visual Composer

suddenly my shortcode generator in vc for essential grid is not working anymore.
i try to deactivate plugins, but it is still not working.
I opens step 1 of the shortcode generator, but when i try to add a selected grid with the button ‘add selected grid’ it is doing nothing (except try to ‘fire’ javascript:void(0);)
