Essential Grid consisting of posts with end dates

My company uses the Essential Grid to showcase upcoming events for our Theater. Therefore, we’d like for those event posts to automatically be taken out of the essential grid once it hits its end date (provided in the event’s post). Is there a code that I can put in the ‘Additional Parameters’ section of the Essential Grid Source Tab that would fix this issue?
