Empty Menu Item

    I am trying to add an empty menu item so that I can add my social media links (with the icon and link) to my stick bar but I can’t seem to get rid of the text “menu item” and when I do it just deletes the entire menu. I have tried one blank space but that seems to delete the menu as well. Any help?
