default theme pages are added to the site maps

hi there
i tried to create a site map but noticed that 20 plus default pages are added like for example, the FAQ MODULE page. As I don’t want all these extra pages in the site map, shall i delete the pages first. I am just worried that if I delete these pages with code on, I may need them at a later stage.
Please can you suggest the best way to go about this
