Customizing Post Grid

Im am using highend theme 2.1.2
On my static Homepage I will show only 3 Blog Items. On a separate Page 10 Blogs per Page. This means, that I can not use the standard template Blog Grid.
Instead I used the Post Grid in Visual Composer.
But: How can I customize it that it looks like the standard template (see attached screenshot). -> Excerpt Length; Single post featured image height
Also some settings did not effect -> Button Stil; Button Color
