Customise Typography isn’t working

Customise Typography isn’t working correctly on my site.
I needed to use this feature to increase the size of my header menu fonts. This corked correctly and now other fonts on my site have changed automatically and nothing I do can get them back.

Here’s a list of my problems:

1. After changing the font and size on the Navigation Font and Widget Areas Font all of the widget title headings and the custom page title, automatically changed and I can’t change them back.

2. When I update the changes I’ve made to the H1 – H6 heading settings, the only things that actually change when I refresh my site are the the normal-bold settingS and the colour. NOT the size or the type of font.

3. Since trying to customise the Typography all of the words that have a link attached to have reduced in size. What can I do to correct this?

4. Before doing any of this I carefully studied the Documentation and watched the video tutorial on how to – Customise Typography. After trying to load a Google font in the Custom Font Import and attaching it to the h5 Heading. Now when I try to use this heading the words that were typed in this heading, show up in the page edit but will no longer appear in the preview.

It always seems to be the simple stuff that causes me the most bother!
I’d like to you to know before I ask my question here – I’ve already spent a good day or more of trial and error, google and HB- Forum help pages trying to solve my issues.
