Custom sidebar in Highend

Hello I want know if in Highend theme is posible make a custom sidebar for one specific page or if it is not posible with the basic options of the theme, which plugin you recommend?

And one question, if I must put a plugin, I read the performance of the web falls, this is correct with the plugin that may will recommend me?.
