Custom height portfolio featured image

Hello,

I have two questions:

I try to find a way to modify the height of the featured image displayed for example on this page: http://thebg.be/?portfolio=sad-group-2&lang=en
As you can see I already tried to resize the image, but that has a bad effect.

Can you please tell me where I can modify this?

Why are the ‘Skills” displayed with an @en (on the same page as above).
It has something do to with the translation plugin (WMPL) but im not sure how to resolve this.
