Color Changes and Slider changes not reflected

Hi ~ Every time I make changes to the color of the footer and the text on the home page ex 9, it reflects the change has occurred but then when I visit site all the changes are gone. I also have been experimenting with the Revolution slider changes and none of the changes transferred to the site.
