Change Header Height/Decrease White Space

I am using the Bloggera Home Alternative IV template. I would like to decrease the header height. Specifically, I’d like to decrease the white space between the logo and menus as well as decrease the white space between the top header and logo. Here is my site: http://madscientistcrazymom.com/
