Center Social Icons

Hi,

I would like to center the social icons in the footer widget. I tried to add:
.shortcode-social-icons .social-icons { text-align:center; }
.shortcode-social-icons ul.social-icons li { float: none; display: inline-block; }
but it doesn’t work.
