CAPTCHA incompatibility

Hello,

A friend just notified me that she was not able to post a comment. When I checked myself all comments were being blocked. I have had literally thousands of visitors to my blog in the last three months. More than 100,000 to be exact. Yet never one comment on my blog. I wondered why. When I looked into this, the captcha plugin reported the script on the theme was not compatible? I have no idea what this means, but I completedly deleted this plugin and tried another. Same problem. I am literally sick to my stomach at the number of people who may have wanted to reply and have not been able to.

I have no idea what to do. But I would like to use some of the better plugins for this theme to prevent spam and bots. I’ve tried three of most highly ranked onces so far and I’ve had no success. Can you please recommend one that works with Highend? Please note that my Akismet account is active and up to date.
