cant reorder elements in visual composer

saw people were having issues with visual composer. its been sort of working for me but i cant drag and drop any elements like before. i read the related threads and they say to update visual composer but dont give you a link to update it and if i try to update it from wordpress plugins it wants me to pay for it.

can you help me resolve this issue.
