Cannot disable footer in one page [Aegaeus] – follow-up

This is in follow-up to a previous topic (https://hb-themes.com/forum/all/topic/cannot-disable-footer-in-one-page-aegaeus/).

Unfortunately I just tried your suggestion to change the permalink, but the footer area still displays.

The original permalink was:
www.(mysitesname).com/contact/

And I changed it to:
www.(mysitesname).com/find-us/

I also even tried to create a brand new page and made sure the “Disable Footer Widgetized Area” option was checked in that page’s Template Settings. However, the footer area still displays.

Any suggestions?
