Button links reload my page

I have the minimal theme on my site, and have tried using a button to link to my ISSUU portfolio. Everytime I re-enter the link and save, it is gone the next time. The button reloads my about me page. I tried through the backend editor and even going into the code itself and entering the link because it was blank. Even with the link there, it reloads my about page…any help?
