Bullets, numbered lists, not working, columns a little finicky

I tried to get multiple columns working but it is giving me a little bit of grief. On Highend Theme, which I have used in the past, I’ve gone through the documentation. Could someone please explain to me how to get the columns working properly. I believe the problem may be related either to the formatting issues involving the CSS, or the plugins installed on my site. The site is not yet published, but I can share screenshots if you request.

No bullets or numbered lists are showing, even within elements. I have tried pasting some of the custom CSS snippets mentioned throughout the forum, but this has not resolved the issue. Could you please give me a list of plugins that are known to cause this problem? I do not want formatting issues on the backend. I am planning to use this theme for a long term such as five to ten years, for an eCommerce store. (Although I will be beta testing for about a year.) It should be stable as possible.
