Broken Visual Composer and weird icons issue

So I recently purchased this theme from mojo marketplace after setting up another for someone else, expecting it to our a somewhat straightforward process as before. However, it’s been a nightmare, and while not all my issue are caused by your theme two of them revolve around your theme.

This first issue has been well documented here on your forums and there dosnt seem to be a solution for it which it visual composer dosnt work it only shows a loading screen, yes layer slider has been turned off.

The second issue is with your theme directily and it’s with the icons, for some reason their showing up as chinese characters in multiple browsers. If I cannot get these issues resoloved them then a refund seems like the best course of action.
