Blog excerpt

Hello,

How do you define the text which should appear in the blog excerpt (either on blog page) or on the “Recent in blog” section of my home page ?

I have text appearing in “Recent in blog” section in my home page and I do not understand where it is coming from and what to do if I would like to change it.
