Blog Boxes, Blog Carousel not saving taxonomy preferences

Hi guys,

I seem to be having issues with my Blog displaying properly.

Upon opening the Blog Boxes settings in Visual Composer, I am able to set the prefered posts/excluded posts by entering the category of the post in the shown field (Attached)

Unfortunately it does not save. Each time I enter the category I do not want to see and click Save, the settings don’t ‘take’ and upon re-opening the popup box I can see that the category I have put in the desired field is not there.

Am I doing something wrong?
