Blank space between header and content

Hello,

I’m a total newbie. I bought Highend and had it installed as a service through Mojo Marketplace. On the whole I’ve found it intuitive and simple to use, but I am having a really specific and confusing problem that is driving me crazy. No matter what settings I change, every page has a large blank black space between the header and the content. It’s about double the size of the header.

It renders exactly the same way as the footer widget area. So I thought it might be a header widget area. I couldn’t find a global setting for turning header widgets off. I have tried turning the header widget on and off in individual page settings but it makes no difference.

I have included a screenshot of the offending space (it’s the big black bit in the middle).

How can I get rid of this big blank space? Any support much appreciated.
