Blank page after clicking "Proceed to checkout

Hi,

I am trying to complete the checkout by using paypal standard.
When I chose the product, I see the product in my cart.
Then when I click “Proceed to checkout”, only the blank page is displayed and
I can’t complete the checkout.
Can you please tell me why and how I can fix this?
