bbpress setup

I am following bbpress insturtion to install bbpress on my WP and create a page on it, then set the page on the menu, also created a topic.
However, when I click the fourm on the menu to go to the page, there is no forum appear. Did I simply miss something very basic? Or I need to do something else to get the forum working. Does it has a default template for ddpress forum page that I do not need to edit or I have to create a new page layout? Appreciate your help.
