Anchor links/tags

Hi,

I’m having a problem with anchor links/tags.

The site is: http://www.projectprance.com

On the home (‘about’) page, the links/tag works fine – from the ‘join’ element of the menu, and the ‘join him’ element on the pre-footer callout, to the part of the page which enables visitors to join in.

On other pages however, the link is not so accurate – it goes to the correct place back on the home/about page, but then jumps to include other parts on that page (the UNICEF logo/a photo). How do I avoid this? It’s important as the ‘join’ area is the most important part of the site!

I’ve searched the forum here and tried various solutions, using tags in various formats in various locations in text/html editor and using raw html element in visual composer, but the result is the same. Perhaps it’s the http://www.projectprance.com/#join link I’m using?
