After updating theme, I cannot import saved rev slider

I recently had the issue that my rev slider was not working, so I saw a fix on the forums to:
-Install recent update
-Export currently saved rev sliders
-Import saved sliders

I can see the exported files but it will not allow me to import them again. Please help!
