Add to Header Top Bar

Hi,

I am reading the documentation for a currency switcher plugin here: http://currency-switcher.com/documentation/#!/section_5

I would like to add this to the top bar, to the left of the cart and the right of the social media icons. How can I do this? I have tried a few things but it did not work so I need a little guidance.
