40 MB – We recommend setting memory to at least 64MB

Hi,

I have tried to follow the instructions on the codex to increase php memory; modify the wp-config.php file to include:
define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );

but it has not made a difference. I am using FileZilla for FTP.

Even after modifying the file, the error message is still apparent on my system status.
