Will HighEnd demo installer overwrite existing theme?

Hi, I currently purchased and installed the HighEnd theme for my website. I already had an existing site and was simply wanting to update the appearance. I am having trouble with the home page and was wondering if either:

if I use the Demo Installer, will my existing content be overwritten?
OR, is there a Home Sample Template that I can download?
