Widgets dissapered and headings are no longer visible

I just went to my blog for the first time in two weeks and discovered that my settings somehow changed.

I had widgets on my blog pages that are now gone even though no settings have been changed. I have gone over the page and high end options and can’t find how to get them back.

Also on my blog page the site navigation was not visible. I could see some text behind the page titles so went into high end options and for now make the header portion large (it was small) and a light color (it was black) so that you can still see the menu options and they don’t run over the page title.

How can I get this back to fitting as it did before and why did these things changE
