Hello: Visual Composer is not working for me on Posts or Pages. When I click “Edit with Visual Composer” I just get the animated logo with a light circle rotating behind.

When I just click “edit”, I see the backend of Visual Composer, but I am mostly unable to make edits (except in the case of a couple of pages). But when I click Preview Changes, I get the same logo animation and nothing else. Same happens when I click Frontend.

This seems to have happened since an update a week ago to VC 5.1.1. Now I have a notice as below:
“There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available. View version 5.2.1 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin.
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘hb_update_link’ not found or invalid function name in /home3/ittakeu2/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 300”

Please advise if you will do this update on your end, and will that fix the problems opening Visual Composer?

Alternatively, if I disable Visual Composer and then uninstall it and reinstall, will I be able to do that without losing any data or changing the design of my pages?

    Thanks.

    Derek
