Visual Composer in New Blog Posts

I am attempting to make the blog posts look less “blah”. I want to include info-graphs, active content, etc. similar to the rest of the website. However, contrary to your marketing, I can’t seem to even see the option of visual composer when creating a new blog post.

Because of this, I can’t see the short codes needed to make anything more than a document post with the featured image, and using the WordPress built-in tools to insert media.

I understand that there are some issues with Visual Composer’s front end editor.

However, I don’t even see the visual composer as an option when creating a new post. Could I get a list of the short codes or could your provide a solution to what I’m missing?
