Unwanted padding revolution slider

Hi all,

I am working on a new website with the aegaeus theme and want to integrate a revolution slider.
I imported the standard slider which was integrated in the theme installation. Now I have the slider activated but I have some unwanted padding on the left side and above the slider:

It should look like this:
http://hb-themes.com/themes/aegaeus_wp/revolution-slider/

I tried to copy this in the custom css, but it did not work:

Any advise? Thanks.
