Typewriter Effect element stopped functioning

Typewriter Effect element in WP Bakery stopped functioning on a page that hasn’t been edited since last year, possibly after the latest update.
Words that previously scrolled across one at a time, now list straight down the entire list pushing the page content down and then the list erases one at a time and then continues to repeat the process.

Has there been a fix for this yet?
